The Paragon still hold onto their elite status with fanatical devotion, even after all else has decayed. Overtime, the disconnected augmentations that gave them eternal youth and super human abilities started to falter, with many Paragon descending into madness and decay. They were no longer able to connect with CORE, the administrative heart of the Star Union with the Emperor at its center. The upper-class Paragons (named after the company that provided their cybernetics, Paragon Augmentations), fell from boundless hedonism to a state of survival. After the Collapse, all interstellar trade and communications ended, leaving the surviving citizens marooned on their worlds. I really hope you can obtain some of them as units somehow and the paladin as a vehicle like the Tyrant. The Paragon once were the elite citizens of the Star Union empire. Looking forward to fighting them! They seem quite unique and cool, kinda feel very end-game worthy of wildlife. And the paladin, wielding a sword made up of bodies of failed chaotic seers, that's such a badass little lore snippet! The Chaos Witch is probably among one of my fav unit designs, it sorta beats anything of the Psynumbra and Voidbringers in terms of horror. The Apostates looks absolutely amazing, I adore the design for them and their landmark looks so good. I love it! It also adds more competition, forcing the decision of wars or not. Really liking the Grail mechanic! It may not be such a big addition, but just like with anomaly sites it adds more to the exploration and kinda RPG feeling the AoW games have had whilst also being a strategy game that breaks away from bit monotonous routines, much like Endless games went for with heroes and quest objectives.
